39 weeks!

So my due date is coming right around the corner, 5 more days (today is almost over, so it doesn't count). I don't have any new pics of the baby yet, but Jon and I did do a little photo-shoot of our own today. Everyone has been telling me I need to get pregnancy pictures taken, but I haven't and I guess I am running out of time. So we just did it ourselves today by the river outside the office. So here are a few pictures of my 39 week old baby belly!

I will try to keep all of you updated, and let you know when Baby Rinn decides to join the world! Check facebook often, I'll do my best to keep you all posted :) And I'll put Jon on call/text duty!

May Update

So, just a few things to blog about that have been happening in May. Poppy is now 32 weeks!! These ultrasound pics are taken right around 29 1/2 weeks! All face shots of course, don't wanna accidently see anything :) I think the heart beat at this appointment was 147 bpm.

Then on May 5th I made a trip home to see everyone back in Indiana! Got to watch Emma & Ethan do a little fishing.. We were supposed to make a trip to the zoo, but it pretty much rained everyday when I was there.

I also got to see Emma graduate from pre-school while I was home. Kindergarten next year! And Ethan goes to pre-school, look out!!!

I'm a little tea pot! So cute!

Little did I know that while I was home, my mom with a little help from Dan & Missy I believe, set up a whole Surprise Baby Shower for me!! It was awesome!! I thought I was going to the library to read some books with Emma, but nope, everyone was there waiting on me!! I got to see most of my family, a few old friends from high school, and even some of my best friends made it up all the way from Indy and Vincennes :) It was so good to see everyone, and so much fun to get all the new baby stuff!! Our baby room/guest room is getting kinda crowded! We will have to make some room for the baby!

Now I'm back in Steamboat and my mom is coming to visit me in just a few days!! She is coming out for my baby shower that my mother-in-law is having for me :)

Jon and I have still not decided on a paint color for the baby room...who knew there were so many shades of green!!! Not too much else is going on, just counting down the days!! Less than 2 months to go!!

Oh, and here is a pic of the baby book rack that Jon made! It is now FULL of books from my shower, but look how awesome it is! He hasn't stained it yet, we are waiting on the crib to get here so we can match the Cherry stain...

Poppy @ 20 weeks

This is our baby at about 20 weeks.  The heart beat was around 150.  Both Grandmas were able to be there for this one!

Spring is in the air??

So for most of you reading my blog it's beginning to look like spring, well here in Steamboat "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"  As I'm typing this, it is pretty white out there and it's not planning on stopping anytime soon, supposed to get 6-12 inches, to add tothe 2 feet we got last week!!  

Pregnancy is going well.  I am 26.5 weeks along and getting excited.  Jon and I went to Denver 2 weekends ago and had the whole Babies R Us experience. Wow, can you say overwhelming!?!?  We were there for about 4 hours too long!  But we did pick out our baby crib and a ton of other things for our wish list. Both sets of grandparents are getting us the crib, and I can't wait!  It's beautiful!! This is it, but it's going to be a Cherry stain.

 Today Jon and I went to look at paint samples for the nursery, we brought home and HUGE color wheel.  I like a few different shades of green, so we will see!  I think we are going to paint a stripe around the room too, but we are going to wait to see if that stripe will be Pink, or Yellow :)  It will be awhile till it's all done, but I will post pictures as soon as I can.  We also got some wood today for Jon's next project.  I saw this shelf thing at a friend's house in her nursery and I want it!  So Jon is going to make his wife happy and build it for her :)  We already have a few baby books ready!

A lot of changes are going on at Rinn Chiropractic Center.  Kelly, our insurance manager is leaving to move back to Alaska to be closer to her teenage daughter, Morgan.  So we hired a new lady, Maria, who is in training right now and doing awesome!  Also, Cheryl our front desk lady is moving back to Chicago.  So we are saying good-bye to both of them tomorrow actually.  They will be missed!! :(  

Jon and I are planning our trip back to Bluffton here soon. I think sometime in May, we have not set the date yet.  But we are thinking about making the DRIVE!!  Flights are expensive, and also we might be having a baby shower or 2 while we are there and we wanna be able to transport the goods!!  Nothing is definite yet, except that I am super excited and can not wait!!!

Home for the Holidays

I know I'm way behind on the blogging thing, but I have been busy!! But I did want to post some pics and info about our traveling home to Indiana for Thanksgiving & Christmas ( thanks again mom:))  Thanksgiving at home was fun, I got to share the news to the whole fam about the newest addition to Jon & I's family.  Not a real shocker in my family, there are babies everywhere!! It will be so fun to have all the little cousins to play with!  

For Christmas Jon & I got Emma a day of fun at Build-a-Bear. We had so much fun watching her make "Miss. Puppy", and dress her up in Hello Kitty p.j.'s.

While we were at home, we somehow talked Emma into getting her first Adjustment by Dr./Uncle Jon!!

I think Ethan's highlight to Uncle Jon and Aunt Kristy being home was that he got to play with our iphones.  He is quite the little gamer already!  This is him playing with the camera feature.  What a little cutie!  

Baby Rinn :)

So, we are pregnant!!  And so excited!  Here are the first pictures of our little one that is expected to be here July 15th!  

The pictures are taken at 13 weeks, when the baby was the size of a Lemon.  Now I am at 16 weeks, baby is supposed to be about the size of an avacado!  But no new pictures till 20 weeks, when it will be as big as a Banana!! So, check back later :) 

Boy or Girl?? Who knows!?!?  We are not going to find out till the little one is here :)
