Home for the Holidays

I know I'm way behind on the blogging thing, but I have been busy!! But I did want to post some pics and info about our traveling home to Indiana for Thanksgiving & Christmas ( thanks again mom:))  Thanksgiving at home was fun, I got to share the news to the whole fam about the newest addition to Jon & I's family.  Not a real shocker in my family, there are babies everywhere!! It will be so fun to have all the little cousins to play with!  

For Christmas Jon & I got Emma a day of fun at Build-a-Bear. We had so much fun watching her make "Miss. Puppy", and dress her up in Hello Kitty p.j.'s.

While we were at home, we somehow talked Emma into getting her first Adjustment by Dr./Uncle Jon!!

I think Ethan's highlight to Uncle Jon and Aunt Kristy being home was that he got to play with our iphones.  He is quite the little gamer already!  This is him playing with the camera feature.  What a little cutie!

So, we are pregnant!!  And so excited!  Here are the first pictures of our little one that is expected to be here July 15th!  

The pictures are taken at 13 weeks, when the baby was the size of a Lemon.  Now I am at 16 weeks, baby is supposed to be about the size of an avacado!  But no new pictures till 20 weeks, when it will be as big as a Banana!! So, check back later :) 

Boy or Girl?? Who knows!?!?  We are not going to find out till the little one is here :)

What Jon has been up to

Jon just recently became a woodworker in his spare time.  He started with the chopping block/island that he made for our kitchen.

For my birthday this year, he made me a recipe box with a granite top, and 2 drawers...so feel free to help me fill it up!!!

 

Next came the End Table for our living room, with an antler handle that Macie loves!!!

I had to post these cute halloween pictures!  I wish I could have been there to see when Grandpa tried giving them potatoes instead of Candy!

My B-Day Weekend @ Home!!

So for my 26th birthday present all I wanted was to be able to fly home to Indiana and spend some time with my family, and this is what I got!  After some flight delays I finally made it to the Ft. Wayne airport where I was welcomed home by my favorite people!  My parents were there as well as Dan & Miss, and the Emma & Ethan. E&E had made me a WELCOME HOME KRISTY! sign, which was adorable!!  

Ethan loved riding around on the baggage claim belt, apparently more than my luggage did, because it didn't show up!!  Anyway it was a great weekend home filled with lots of surprises!! One of them being my Mom surprised me with Reba McEntire & Kelly Clarkson Concert Tickets!!! It was the best concert EVER!!! 

While I was home, Emma and I had a slumber party!!  We played dollhouse, checkers, Battleship, watched movies, we made a fort and g'ma brought us snacks! Not much sleep happened, but it was fun!!

Then on the Saturday before I had to leave my mom planned a BBQ and almost the whole Gentis clan showed up!  We had quite the feast and a bonfire.  It was so great to see everyone, especially all the new babies!! I finally got to meet Raleigh.  

Wow, our family is growing!!  I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving in about 25 days!!!

Our Weekend GetAway

Jon and I took a little trip away..  We were going to hike up to hanging lake, but as soon as we got there it started pouring rain!  So this is as far as we got.

So we continued our trip down to Denver.  We hung out for a little while at Champps waiting for our table at P.F. Changs which was delicious!!  Then we called it an early night cause we had to get up bright and early!  We spent the morning shopping, using some gift cards we still had from the wedding!  And got our dogs a treat at PetSmart!!  These should keep them busy for a while!!

Sunday afternoon we made our way to the Broncos game with Mike.  We took a fun little trolley to the game.  The Bronocs beat the New Orleans Saints 34-32.  It was no Colts game, but still pretty fun!

I got a new mountain bike and it's great!  This is one of the trails around Steamboat that I have been cruising around on.  And of course Jon has his mountain bike too so it's something fun that we can do together.

Pizza Party!

It was so nice to have a looong holiday weekend.  Jon's Brother, David & his Sister-In-Law, Bethany came up to visit from Fort Worth Texas.  We had them out for a nice little visit and had some of Oak Creek's best Pizza!
